Simple maintenance: tires rotation and oil change took over an hour to complete from time of appointment. Should it really take this long? overbooked, maybe? Wished I could haves spoke to someone about what was done rather than just given the receipt and told to pay the girl. I asked questions but the gentleman said he didn’t perform the work so he didn’t know. Finally, noticed car had been rinsed off, vacuumed would have been nice as well.

I am satisfied with the results of the service, however the communication process was very lacking. Upon arriving at the service counter to check in, the service attendant simply ignored us as we stood there for about 5 minutes (he was doing something on his computer along with watching something else on his phone). Finally we approached him and stated that we had an appointment to have our vehicle serviced, he then checked us in (while still watching something on his phone). During this conversation we asked to have a ride to a local business while the service would be performed he said "ok" but then went back to his computer, we just stood there and finally asked if we were to wait here or somewhere else, to which he said ya just wait here I'm trying to get someone. During this process just behind the service person was an office where there was another person sitting behind a desk and the door was open to which he could see and hear us and we could see him, he didn't budge during the whole process. The whole process was very in-polite and unfriendly. When we have gone to other service departments, the garage doors are opened as we approach to pull into the shop and then we have been greeted, listened to, and instructed (courteously), on what would happen. Also, when I call the dealership to make appointments, I ask for the service department and it is a 50/50 chance that I am routed into an automated service to which the menu gives the option of continuing with the automated service or to making a selection for a service attendant. When I select the option for a service attendant it doesn't work and the automated program continues. This is very frustrating when one wants to talk to a live person. Finally, it is also a 50/50 chance that when you call for the service department that you receive the answering machine after being transferred.

The service manager did an amazing job. He definitely went the distance as far as I’m concerned. When I scheduled my appointment I let the person know there was a light on my dash that needed to be turned off. They said, not to worry they’d make sure it was taken care of when they did the first oil change service. The person who accepted my truck that morning didn’t listen to what I had said or the request I had made when setting up the appointment. I waited at the dealership- the waiting area was clean, the restroom was clean enough, the staff outside of the service department was friendly. A young man came to tell me that my truck was ready. He gave me a receipt and my keys and that was it. I walked out and looked around for my truck, located it. Got in and the light was still on, on my dash. I drove to the service door and walked in and spoke with the service writer to originally accepted my truck. I said, I’m sorry to bug you but the light is still on. He was short and rude stated: we did what you asked! Show me what the problem is. We walked out to the truck I got in and showed him the forward collision light was on. The tapped my dash and spoke to me like I was challenged in some way stating and I quote:” that light doesn’t shut off!” “It won’t shut off” “there’s no way to shut it off” all the while tapping my dash to make his point. He then followed up with, “if you’d read your car manual you’d know this”. I left, pretty sure I wouldn’t be back. I took pictures of my dash, searched Google and spoke to the shop I used to work at and it was determined that I’m not dumb, I’m not an idiot and my request wasn’t out of line. That light can in fact be turned off! I got home and called Hansen back and asked to speak with the service manager. He was very helpful, we got the light turned off and moving forward I will only be dealing with him if my truck needs any type of attention.

I have no issues or concerns with the process or experience with my purchase of a new truck. I was, however, a little disappointed that the dealership didn't offer more than one free service. This is no real big deal and not a deal breaker but other GMC dealers offer several free (2 or 3) services for new vehicle purchases. This is not necessarily a complaint, just a suggestion.

Once again, Spencer, Cody, and the service team at Hansen’s have provided 5 star service. I had my truck in a little early for my appointment. They took it in just fine, briefed an overview of the work I had requested, and called me as soon as it was done. The price was what they quoted. We service both of our vehicles with Hansen’s and we will not service our 2 Chevrolets anywhere, but Hansen’s. We are treated like family when we bring our vehicles in. Went in for an oil change. Tire rotation and balance. Got my truck back. Oil all over my door on inside and outside. Oil on my steering wheel. Shifter. Push button start and windshield where the sticker for the oil change goes all had oil on it. I am quite upset and I do not know if I will bring my truck there again for oil changes. I have the gold standard and I could not pay for anything on Saturday because the rep could not access the paperwork. They should be able to access paperwork on Saturdays

Violated is how I would describe my experience at Hansen Motors. Since buying a brand new Silverado from them, they have been very good to work with. My warranty ran off a month ago went in for some work yesterday they worked on my truck. It was in their building for 1.45 hours, I was charged for 34 hours of labor. They replaced no parts so their book has no way of saying how long it should’ve took. If people will cheat you on their charging. I suspect they will cheat you on their work.
